Terms of Service

Last Updated: September 6, 2026 • Effective Date: September 6, 2026
Welcome to NC: By creating an account, enrolling host machines, or connecting AI clients via our Model Context Protocol (MCP) gateway, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please review them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Node Command, including services provided under https://nodecommand.app and https://mcp.nodecommand.app. By registering an account, installing the NC Host Agent, or connecting any AI client (OpenAI ChatGPT, Anthropic Claude, OpenCode, Cursor, etc.), you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Description of the Service

NC provides a secure, hosted, multi-tenant Model Context Protocol control plane enabling authorized AI models to interact with your explicitly enrolled Windows, Linux, and macOS host computers. Core functionality includes remote shell execution, bounded file inspection and manipulation, service status monitoring, and system snapshots.

3. Account Registration & Security

  • You must provide accurate and verifiable account information during registration (either directly or via our supported OAuth identity providers: Google, GitHub, GitLab, or Discord).
  • You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, session tokens, and enrolled device private keys.
  • You must immediately notify NC of any unauthorized access, compromised device tokens, or security breaches affecting your workspace.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use NC strictly in compliance with applicable local, national, and international laws. You agree NOT to:

  • Enroll machines that you do not own, control, or have explicit authorized permission to administer.
  • Use NC to deploy, execute, or propagate malware, ransomware, cryptominers, spyware, or unauthorized network reconnaissance tools.
  • Attempt to bypass multi-tenant boundaries, probe other tenants' machine IDs, reverse-engineer proprietary security daemons, or execute denial-of-service attacks against NC infrastructure.
  • Use automated tools or scrapers to abuse platform rate limits, bypass subscription tiers, or falsify device cryptographic proofs.

5. Remote Execution & User Responsibility

You retain full control and ultimate responsibility for commands issued by your connected AI agents. While NC provides granular host execution policies (read_only, standard, full), fail-closed permission gates, and 60-second Ed25519 authorization envelopes, NC does not evaluate the intent or business consequences of arbitrary scripts or commands you authorize your AI agents to execute.

6. Subscription Tiers & Entitlements

NC offers tiered service entitlements:

  • Free Plan: Allows management of 1 enrolled host machine.
  • Commercial Plans (Starter / Pro / Business): Support expanded host capacities (3, 5, or 10+ concurrent hosts) and advanced operational policies.
  • We reserve the right to enforce device limits according to your active plan and throttle or reject enrollments exceeding plan limits.

7. Service Availability & Modifications

We strive to maintain high availability and performance across our control plane. However, NC is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We may occasionally perform scheduled maintenance, software upgrades, or modify tool definitions to enhance platform security and MCP specification compliance.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NC and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of business revenue, or host system downtime resulting from remote commands executed on your machines through connected AI clients.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account or revoke device access immediately if you violate these Terms or engage in activities that threaten platform security, integrity, or third-party rights. You may terminate your agreement at any time by forgetting your enrolled devices and deleting your account.

10. Governing Law & Contact

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws governing digital services and cloud infrastructure. For legal notices, inquiries, or enterprise agreement requests, please contact:
